What a delightful and refreshing novel - I read it in two days - Couldn't put it down and when I did, I couldn't stop thinking of what was awaiting me when I picked it back up again to read. You fall in love with the characters & places that you can't wait for the next novel to come out. I read book #2 first and it was nice that I didn't need to read #1 in order to follow #2. That's what I love about these books - you can read them in any order. Looking forward to #3 and hopefully more.Product details

This story starts out with an exciting rescue following a shipwreck and develops into a very sweet and heartwarming romance. Nixie Tate' s characters are interesting yet very relatable. I very much enjoyed the journey back in time. I look forward to reading more of her work.
Although not normally a fan of historical or mystical romance, I found THE GYPSY'S SILENCE to be a pleasant surprise. After reading the first few chapters, I found myself wanting to discover more about the main characters to see where the book was heading. I was not disappointed and enjoyed how their relationship developed.
THE GYPSY'S SILENCE was an easy read, not too "syrupy," and thankfully not mystical at all, as I had originally thought by the title. Consider me a Nixie Tate fan!
